Hi !!

I am Jennifer (I prefer Jen or Jenny :) ), I am 27 and I have been living in Montreal, Canada, for nearly 10 years! I am originally from France, that I visit quite often since my family lives there. I have traveled quite a lot these last few years, and I was lucky enough to spend a few months in latin America last year where I did volunteering in a horse sanctuary! It was really eye-opening on the fact that travelling is a big part of my well-being. I have quite only travelled backpacking, often on my own, which was really helpful to bond with locals, make new friends, and discover local culture. I deeply enjoy the simplicity of this way of traveling and I am so looking forward to do it again over the next months!

I moved to Montreal on my own when I was 17 to study. I got my bachelor in business administration and I specialized in sustainable development and project management. Since then, I have been working in several fields, such as :
-Looking after kids in kindergarten and middle school, and babysitting (still babysitting whenever I can, I love it!);
-Managing operations in an online art gallery (in a wider sense, I love art and cultural activities, creating paintings, visiting museums, photography and creating online videos);
-Managing projects in various NGOs dedicated to kids in situation of vulnerability.

As of my personality, my friends would definitely say that I am an empathetic, introspective and a caring and generous person whom it's fun and joyful to be around. I have a deep sensibility and I get a lot of energy from positive and enriching connexions. I am a very autonomous handy and self-taught person, meticulous too. I appreciate quite a lot of things that involve creation with my hands : cooking, building and repairing stuff, gardening, art as I mentioned above, etc. I come from a creative and self-taught family so that might be why :) Might be useful too : I grew up in nature, in big spaces where we had the chance to live with dogs, cats, chickens, sheep, rabbits, and horses. I love love love animals so it will be my pleasure take care of them if you have some.

I speak French and English fluently. I have really minimal basic knowledge in Spanish as I learned it in school, but I haven't talked Spanish since. But I would be glad to learn again!
I have worked with kids a lot so I have a pedagogical and patient approach regarding teaching them.

I studied business management for 4 years, so I have a broad understanding in how organizations operate and how they manage ressources. I have knowledge and experience in planning, organizing, project management, product development and promotion, operations management. I also have knowledge in budgeting. As a well raised Z generation kid (haha) I know really well how to use laptops and a various range of softwares, as well as social medias and content creation.
I have a strong experience in customer needs and relations, so I will gladly help you accomodate tourists if, for example, that's what your business do.

I am really resourceful and always looking to help and learn new skills! I love DIY and I can come up fast with solutions and ideas.I enjoy manual labor (painting, cooking, art projects, and many more).
I will gladly participate in community development projects and cultural projects.
