My next destination:
Mexico - from May 2025 until May 2025 View allDescription
After spending 2 years on and off travelling while applying to the military and then 6 months in Police training school my true passions and morals have been discovered. Realising how much I have grown and the community I found while travelling I am now on the path to pursue a career and life centred around wellness, adventure and sustainability. Change has, is and will be difficult but I aim to embrace every moment of it.
I look for workaways with character and charm. I enjoy working with teams and having time to reflect by myself. I am eager to learn and share my knowledge, I have a growing interest in spirituality and in the power of nature and the outdoors on physical and mental health and want to help to protect and nurture the Earth while learning from the experiences it has to offer.Interests

More details about your skills
I am a keen cook who loves to experiment with new flavours and recipes, while at a workaway in Slovenia I was the cook for a week catering for a range of different group sizes and dietary requirements, in Australia I had the opportunity to go dumpster diving which was a very rewarding experience and yet again tested my developing cooking skills. In Italy I managed the catering for a local festival and made a grand celebration cake.
I have also been building on my carpentry and construction skills, I have created a dinning table, kayak rack, many different shelving structures and some stools from wood which is my favourite material to work with but I would love the chance to learn more about working with metal. I have also done a lot of painting on my workaways and at home, be it outside walls and fences, furniture and wall murals there isn't much I haven't waved a brush at.
I have professional and workaway experience with children, I have worked in a primary school and as a helper on walking expeditions along with spending time with children on workaways teaching English through play. I also have experience with animals, mainly dogs (I am a huge dog lover!) I stayed at a dog sanctuary in Greece with 160+ dogs.Age

What else ...
As previously alluded to; I am a big fan of the outdoors and have a passion for hiking, climbing and all things adventure. I have been exploring different mountain tops from a very young age and come from a family of outdoor enthusiasts. I love camping under the stars and trying new sports. I am very fit and healthy, I find manual work very rewarding and I am a keen runner training to complete a marathon someday so any opportunity to keep fit and I am there.
I am a big advocate for sustainability and during my time at school and college I helped found and lead an eco group which promotes sustainability through education, fundraising and political action.
In my down time I am learning to knit and I can do sewing and embroidery, I also enjoy reading, painting and practice yoga and mediation. Some more information
