A BIT ABOUT ME 🌷✨
Hello there, thank you for visiting my profile. I have finally come to the end of a long stretch of studying, and now am hoping to start living my dream! I have been fortunate to have been hosted by various families across the years, in Italy, Fiji, and Japan. Personally, I find this way of travelling super magical, and I hope I can continue to visit and share memorable experiences with everyone via Workaway :)

I am of Italian and Caribbean heritage, and was born and raised in London. Growing up in the big has allowed me to meet people from various walks of life and from a young age. This has continuously fuelled my curiosity and appreciation cultures. One of my personal life goals is to become rich in experiences and to learn about the various ways of life people live.

I feel I am at my happiest outdoors, hiking, gardening, or befriending neighbourhood cats. Indoors, I enjoy creating art, playing/listening to music, reading, and playing boardgames. Travel is also a big passion of mine, and I’ve been lucky to explore many wonderful places (BUT I CRAVE MORE). As a foodie, discovering local food is my favourite way to connect with a culture. If you're a foodie, maybe we can exchange recipes?

今年の9月から1年間、日本にまた行けたらと思っています！✨
以前は交換留学生として、神戸で9人家族の素敵なホストファミリーと一緒に暮らしていました。日本で印象に残っているのは、温泉、和太鼓、お祭り、焼き芋、そして屋台の美味しい食べ物です！でも、その上で一番心を動かされたのは、日本人のやさしさとユーモアでした。また日本に戻りたくてたまりません！今は日本語がちょうど中級（N3〜N2）くらいですが、ちょっと錆びついてしまっているので、ゆっくりお付き合いいただけたら嬉しいです。ここまで読んでくれて、ありがとうございます😊

NATURE AND ANIMALS 🐏 🌱
I’ve volunteered at botanical gardens, horse stables, and veterinary clinics. I also have experience dog walking and cat-sitting for friends. Our family includes a cat, a snake and a gecko who I've helped care for from the age of 9 :)

TEACHING/ENGLISH TEACHING🧑🏽‍🎓🧮
Perhaps it's the older sister in me, but I enjoy working and being around children. I have taught children from 4 years old in the UK, Japan and in Fiji, and enjoyed every moment of it. In Japan I taught english cram schools and facilitated ekaiwa at universities. I have hold a TEFL qualification and occasionally teach casually with language partners. (I am happy to teach some Italian too!)

FOOD AND RETAIL 🍊🍓
Through food, retail, and hospitality, I’ve honed my skills in food prep, barista techniques, and maintaining cleanliness and safety. I’ve also led various teams and am comfortable with tasks like scheduling, inventory management, and project coordination. Most of my experience has centred around tea and coffee (Of which I am a big nerd of)

EVENT PLANNING, HOSTING & MORE 🥳🎉:
I was a workshop leader, who organised and hosted icing events nationwide. Events ranged from kids' parties to corporate gatherings. Adapting quickly, thinking on my feet, and working to tight schedules with care and confidence was key.

CARER 🌟
From my teens I have enjoyed volunteering at elderly peoples homes and disabled homes, through events and befriending.

DAILY:
Cleaning ,house maintenance, watering plants, cooking.
