Hi there!
My name is James, I'm a village kid from England and have always loved to travel. I have been to various countries throughout my life and really enjoy meeting new people and learning about where they come from. I spend a lot of my time learning languages and often use language as a deciding factor about where I want to go next. I studied Film at University and have acted onstage and on camera. I love the outdoors and am excited to join in on the Workaway journey. :)

More details about my language interests
Language learning is one of my main hobbies. I studied French for 10 years and keep in practice. I lived in South Korea for one year and learned the language there, and during my time at University I took some classes in Japanese. Aside from those I have interest in and have studied Portuguese and Norwegian at a very low level. All languages really attract me and I always take the opportunity to further my understanding.

I have worked in several areas. I volunteered as a young leader for my local Cub-Scout troop for around four years so I have experience looking after children. I have a job at a dairy farm so I am comfortable with working around animals (and waking up early!) I also have worked part-time at a call centre which taught me office etiquette as well as customer service. I am a people person and very confident when it comes to speaking with others. I wouldn't be shy to get stuck in with any task.

I grew up in the countryside. I love camping, hiking and being outdoors in nature. I go to the city to visit my friends but I feel most at home in the countryside and would love to see the rural areas of the world.
