Description

Hi! My name is Jackson. I’m a medical student who loves traveling in ways that are slow, meaningful, and community-focused. I’m especially drawn to experiences where I can live with local families, learn from daily routines, and contribute in a hands-on way.

I enjoy working outdoors and am happy to help with farming, gardening, permaculture projects, general home tasks, and more. I’m reliable, respectful, and adaptable, and I try to bring a positive attitude to whatever I do. I also enjoy working with children and have an interest in teaching English.

Outside of work, I love hiking, dancing (salsa, bachata, merengue, etc.), playing music, cooking and sharing meals, learning about local culture, and having good conversations. I value mutual exchange and see Workaway as a chance to learn as much as to help.

I’m easygoing, tidy, and communicative, and I aim to be a considerate guest and a supportive volunteer. I’m excited to connect, learn new skills, improve my Spanish, and experience life from a local perspective.

¡Hola! Mi nombre es Jackson. Soy estudiante de medicina y me encanta viajar de una manera tranquila, significativa, y centrada en la comunidad. Me atraen especialmente las experiencias en las que puedo convivir con familias locales, aprender de la vida cotidiana, y contribuir de forma práctica.

Disfruto trabajar al aire libre y con gusto puedo ayudar en la agricultura, jardinería, proyectos de permacultura, tareas generales del hogar y más. Soy responsable, respetuoso y adaptable, y siempre trato de mantener una actitud positiva en todo lo que hago. También disfruto trabajar con niños y me interesa enseñar inglés.

Fuera del trabajo, me encanta hacer senderismo, bailar (salsa, bachata, merengue, etc.), tocar música, cocinar y compartir comidas, aprender sobre la cultura local, y tener buenas conversaciones. Valoro mucho el intercambio mutuo y veo Workaway como una oportunidad para aprender tanto como para ayudar.

Soy una persona tranquila, ordenada y comunicativa, y procuro ser un huésped considerado y un voluntario solidario. Estoy entusiasmado por conectar con otras personas, aprender nuevas habilidades, mejorar mi español, y experimentar la vida desde una perspectiva local.
