I’m Jack 24 from England, and I’ve spent the last three years living in Australia. During that time, I really enjoyed the hostel lifestyle — meeting people from all over the world, sharing stories, and being around good energy.
I’m an active, easygoing guy who enjoys trying new experiences, which is one of the main reasons I joined Workaway.
I’m into the gym, love hiking and spending time outdoors, and I’m a beginner surfer who enjoys getting in the water and learning as I go. I also appreciate chilled time, good conversations, and a relaxed environment.
I travel because I like connecting with local people, learning about different ways of life, and getting involved rather than just passing through. I’m respectful, open-minded, and always happy to help out.

I’m a hands-on, practical person and pretty comfortable jumping in wherever help is needed. I’ve worked in construction in both England and Australia, and more recently been working in the mines , so I’m used to long days, physical work, and getting the job done properly.
I’m reliable, not afraid of hard work, and can handle early starts, outdoor tasks, and jobs that require effort and consistency. I’ve also lived in hostels and shared houses, so I understand teamwork, keeping things clean and organised, and doing my part in shared spaces.
My native language English and I’m happy to help people practise through conversation. I also have basic Spanish and am very eager to improve.
I’m easy going, respectful, and quick to learn. Even if I haven’t done something before, I’m keen to give it a go and pick things up fast. I joined Workaway to try new experiences, learn new skills, and contribute wherever I can.
