  • Description

Hi! My name is Jana, and I’m currently finishing school in Germany. I’ll be graduating this summer and would love to gain some hands-on work experience before starting my university studies.

I have a strong passion for working with children and bring several years of experience through babysitting and volunteering at children’s camps. During these camps, I also received additional training and earned my Youth Leader Card (Juleica), which has further strengthened my skills in childcare and youth work.

In addition to my work with kids, I’m confident around horses and have a big heart for dogs. While I don’t have much experience with farm work yet, I’m very eager to learn, reliable, and highly motivated to contribute wherever I can.

I speak German as my native language and English fluently, so communication won’t be an issue.

I’m excited about new opportunities and ready to put my energy and enthusiasm into meaningful work!

  • More details about your skills

I work very well with children and have spent several years volunteering at “Hölzle,” a children’s camp, mostly with younger kids aged 6 to 9. This experience taught me to act with special care and responsibility, and also to work reliably as part of a team. The camp’s daily routine required us, as staff, to carry out our evening and morning duties conscientiously and competently before and after the children arrived, which I believe is a great foundation for both farm and household work. It also placed a strong emphasis on punctuality.I have also been riding horses for many years. While I’m not a professional rider and still get unseated from time to time, I am generally confident in the saddle and know how to handle horses. My riding instructor always made sure that, alongside practical riding such as dressage and some small jumps (which I still approach with a bit of respect), we learned everything about the care and handling of horses from the ground — grooming, stable maintenance, feeding, and taking care of tack and equipment.

Overall, I enjoy staying active and busy, I learn quickly, and I am motivated to take on almost any task.

  • What else ...

I love playing UNO for example but I like any kind of game basically. While it's important for me to work out on a regular basis my favorite hobby is sitting down and playing the clarinet in my community band.
I enjoy being outside with friends.
