Description
Hi there!!
I am Irem, 28 years old from Istanbul,Turkey. You could say that I am a huge animal lover which also directed my choices in life. Since I always have an interest in nature and animals, I pursued my education on Biology&Animal Behaviour. During my master’s, I had a chance to live in Sweden for 2 years -where is super calm compared to where I grew up-and that was the place introduced me to myself, which is a pure motivation of being outside in the nature.
As I said I am kinda crazy in love with animals, I have been actively taking care of stray animals and helping shelter since little me:) After my educational journey, feeling overwhelmed and lost directed me to do something more meaningful, so I joined European Solidarity Corps project in Lithuania as a animal shelter volunteer.
I also had some experiences in service field, working at the pub and plant-based bakery.
From these experiences I got was priceless, I've met beautiful, genuine people from all around the world. I got to know myself and realized my abilities even more when I faced with struggles. Most importantly, I learnt how similar we are in differences which made me believe there are really smooth and nice things on the way.
Personally, I am curiosity driven, open-minded,easy-going person. What interests me the most is surrended by diverse cultures.I enjoy hearing people’s stories and love to talk about whatever from deep to really superficial fun topics. I like hiking, swimming, doing pilates and starting to like yoga:) I am interested in discovering new type of musics from all around world and I think just trying new things.
Also, I am passionate about baking and cooking vegan foods as well as tasting different cuisines. I think food is the greatest tool to share cultures and brings them together.
