Description
Hi there!
I grew up in Southern Africa with my Danish family who were stationed there. Since leaving school, I have studied, travelled and worked in Europe, Africa and the Americas. I am grateful for having the opportunity to experience as much of the world as I have.
I have a big interest in Permaculture (ethical and holistic design thinking system) which seeks to integrate humans back into their environment by caring for the planet, people and sharing the surplus. I am really inspired by the work of Sepp Holzer, Mark Shepard, Geoff Lawton and Richard Perkins (to name a few) and encourage everyone to check out their amazing work!
I've been doing yoga or meditation almost daily for more than 10 years now. These techniques have helped me in so many ways and for which I am very grateful.
l believe that life should be lived lightly and with humor; learn something interesting everyday, be inspired and motivated by the people around you. -

What else ...
I like board games, recently I've been fortunate to try out the Eurogame or German-style board games which are more abstract and strategy driven, but it's all about having fun which I think is up to one self. I also like to learn about new music from other people. Live music is great and maybe one day I will finally learn how to play my ukulele :).
I also like to go for long walks in nature, to see new places and also to dig the energy of a place where I am. I prefer the quiet life away from the bustle of the city and many people, but now and then it is really great to savour all the possibilities and energy an urban setting has to offer.
For me it is important to live in communal settings, to share meals and to have interesting conversations about things that expand my knowledge or challenge my 'conditioned mind / ignorance'. I also value having alone time and to focus on my personal development... sometimes that requires a good environment and supportive people too.
I think it is important to have a good work and recreation balance, I do like to work hard physically and to have some structure and tangible goals that follow some kind of plan. But it is just as important to connect on multiple levels (spiritually, intellectually and physically) separate from the necessary 'menial' daily tasks. -
