Description
Hi! I am currently solo backpacking through New Zealand. I plan to be here until the end of May. I am, like many, an enthusiast of nature. But I live in Amsterdam, where there is not much of it unfortunately (at least it’s unparalleled to the nature here). Here, in New Zealand, I hope to meet new people and appreciate the beautiful landscapes it has to offer. In order to show gratitude to the country for welcoming me, I really want to be able to give something back to this country, its nature and its kind people. I hope workaway will enable me to do so. Looking forward to new experiences!
Back home in Amsterdam, I got my BA in Philosophy and am planning to finish the MA Cultural Music Studies in 2026. Next to that, I worked at the university for a platform for students with disabilities, advocating for a more inclusive and accessible university, and at a sustainable and plant based restaurant. Study caused me to be spending a lot of time writing and reading on my laptop, but now I want to discover other parts of life. For example, I would love to learn more about animal care, gardening, woodwork, and general maintenance. I love biking, hiking, animals, cooking, and reading books. I am currently a vegetarian, but also love to eat vegan!
