Hi! I am Isabel (they/them) and currently live in Amsterdam, which is a big and fun city, but very hectic. I am looking for a new workaway experience, preferably including taking care of animals. I have lived and worked at an animal sanctuary for one month in April, and have been missing the rural life ever since.
Some general info; I got my BA in Philosophy and and started the MA Cultural Music Studies, but did not finish it once I realized that there is more to life than studying! I've worked at the university for a platform for students with disabilities, advocating for a more inclusive and accessible university, and at a sustainable and plant based restaurant. Study caused me to be spending a lot of time writing and reading on my laptop, but I prefer being out and about. I am always willing to learn more about animal care, gardening, woodwork, and general maintenance. I love biking, hiking, animals, cooking, and reading books.

I am unfortunately not in the possesion of a car, so would be dependent on public transport, hitchhiking, and walking. I don't mind staying put at your place until the end of the stay, I have lots of books to read! :)
