Travelling
Description
This is my first time solo travelling and I'm wanting to see the world while immersing myself in a place's culture, making friends, and seeing things I never would have seen if I was simply travelling alone as a tourist.
I am open to any kind of work, but have a keen interest in animal welfare, permaculture, sustainable living and food production, and community endeavours.
During my travels, I've volunteered in hostels, done some private gardening and renovation work, got my hands dirty in off-grid permaculture communities, cooked for large groups, indulged in one or two creative projects, and so much more. I've thoroughly enjoyed the wide range of experiences I've been able to take part in.
I'm a very fast learner and enjoy getting my hands dirty, so if you're willing to spend a little extra time teaching me something, I would love to use this as an opportunity to learn new skills that I can use to create a more eco-conscious and compassionate world for myself and others.
I also studied writing and literature at university and have a keen interest in languages, so if you need any copywriting/copyediting done or you're looking for a language exchange - or just some help in improving your English - I'd be more than happy to contribute my skills in these areas.
I also find joy in cooking (vegetarian), baking, and exchanging tips and recipes.Interests

More details about your skills
In the few months I've been volunteering I've mainly been cleaning accommodation and doing odd jobs in woodworking, house painting, gardening, and animal care.
In my daily life I enjoy cooking a range of meals for myself and the ones I love, gardening, and learning a range of new skills. I dive head-first into whatever I set my mind to.
I had a dog for 17 years and would care for any pets like I cared for her. I also worked with horses growing up (I may be a bit out of practice, but could be quickly brought up to scratch).
As mentioned in my profile, I studied writing and literature at university and have a keen interest in languages, so I would be interested in language exchange or English tutoring. I also studied French for 7 years and am an intermediate speaker.Age

Diamond Lodge is equal amounts beautiful and comfortable, and the surrounding area of Connemara is absolutely stunning.
