Description
Hi everyone!
My name is Indira and I am 19 years old and I am from Austria. I recently graduated from high school and now I am excited for new experiences abroad through volunteering and cultural exchange.
I have completed a nursing assistant qualification and I am also a qualified social worker for family work. During my education, I gained several practical experiences working with children, elderly people, people with disabilities, and patients in different settings, including kindergartens, children residental groups, facilities for disabled people, hospitals, nursing homes, home care services and holiday camps for children.
These experiences enhanced my sense of responsibility, empathy, and understanding for people in different life situations. Working with children, elderly people, people with disabilities has shown me how important it is to help people (and also animals), which is one of the reasons why i decided to join workaway.
I love traveling, discovering new places, meeting new people and cultures and learning from them. I enjoy making new experiences and hearing experiences from others and making memories with them. In my free time I like spending time with my family, friends and animals.
I am also a real animal lover and I am a vegetarian. I have four cats at home and have been surrounded by cats since my childhood. Taking care of them is my daily life - feeding them, cleaning their litter boxes, Playing, cuddling, going outside with them and making sure they are happy. They are very important for me and one of my greatest joys.
I have not had as much experiences with dogs, but I would love to learn more and spend time caring for them. I am also interested in horses. I rode for many years when I was younger, although I stopped riding, my love and fascination for horses never stopped.
I am a caring, motivated person with a calm energy who would like to help and learn new skills. I look forward meeting different people, supporting some projects or families and making new experiences. -
