Hello World!
I decided I had enough of my 9 to 5 job as a goldsmith and wanted some more flexibility in my life. So I quit my job, left my home and started traveling, though I do plan to eventually get back to making beautiful things again.
I like the cold and being outside and then getting back inside to a nice crackling fire and a big cuddle with any kind of animal.
I've managed to catch a few glimpses of (rural) farmlife and so far I liked what I saw. It seems great to just take care of all the things that need to be done and then when the work is finished for the day go back inside and unwind with a boardgame, some reading or trying to knit or make things with my hands.
I've been told I am reliable, have a sharp mind and I'm both easy and fun to be around.

As for the skills I bring along I like to think I'm pretty versatile.
I have experience working as a cook in a kitchen, working in a hostel/B&B and 3 years of working at a jewellers as a goldsmith.
Whenever I don't know how to do something I can catch on quickly.
Things I would like to learn are woodworking, more metalworking and taking care of different kinds of animals, I know a bit but there's always more to learn.
For my travels, I plan to see where the road takes me: I have no set plans apart from getting to know what day to day life is like for different people.
