Canada - from May 2024 until May 2026 View allDescription
Hello, I’m Ieuan and I have just received a two year work/ holiday visa for Canada!
I’m determined to make a work away the start of my journey. For me this is an opportunity to work within a community with existing skills and learn a little about how some Canadians live. Added bonus is having more time compared to my usual 9-5. I will be motivated to explore around me, finding natural beauty, places to wild swim, cycling routes. I really love having an active lifestyle. This keeps me motivated to work, I’m a carpenter and get lots of joy from making and building. I take pride in my work. I also love learning new skills when the opportunity arises.
I've uploaded some photos of me having fun doing things I love and also some jobs have been a part of.Interests

More details about your skills
My most recent experience is working for 3 years as a carpenter for a company called Millimetre which specialises in Architectural projects and large scale art works.
I have 5 years Carpentry experience working predominately in a workshop environment but also skilled on site. I’ve worked on my own making various furniture pieces and as part of a large team.
Previous to this I achieved a BA honours degree in 3D design in Craft. The course gave me a good knowledge of material capabilities and skill in using hand tools and machines to work with wood metal polymers and ceramics.
I am a competent driver of large vehicles. Spent many hours driving long wheel based vans for site installs.
I have a strong understanding of safety protocol and best practices in workshop site environment.Age
