Hi!! I am a young university student, studying History in Salamanca. I love to read books, collect wooden objects and figurines, and I enjoy spending my time out in the countryside. I also enjoy music, cinema and I love animals.
Being able to volunteer while I explore different regions of the world fosters my passion for cultural exchange, exploration and social interaction. I really enjoy and appreciate the positive impact that sharing different type of lifestyles and customs offers you, as well as the oportunity to fill your life with new experiences.

I have a certain amount of skills and experience in gardening and wall and fence painting, as well as wood stacking and cutting. I have helped out in a farm before, specially attending to chickens, general maintenance of the barn, feeding goats and nursing baby lambs.
I have done basic construction work, and I am a fast learner, always willing to learn new skills or update my own to fit the host's preference.
I enjoy learning new recipes and I like artistic painting. I have also helped out as a babysitter, although less so than the other mentioned skills.
Finally, I have a drivers' license, regarding cars and light weight pick-up trucks.

Ian is a friendly and curious young man. He studied history so he was very interested in history but current politics as well. He helped us with quite a hard task of fixing our old barn. First clearing out old hay and dirt, building a new wall and cleaning the roof. We wish him luck with his future endeavors and his master's degree!!
