Description

Hey, we are Hugo and Clara, 26 and 22 years old, traveller, enginner and university student. We traveler from France. We are going to Mexico with the wish to discover the country in a different way, and to do different meeting

We would like to help and take part in projects while discovering the local culture from the inside. Sharing daily life, cooking together, talking, and learning about everyday habits is what we enjoy most. We like simple and honest exchanges, with conversations, shared stories, or sometimes just quiet moments.

We are open-minded and quite flexible. We principally want to discover a new place and meet new people, without too many expectations. We enjoy listening, learning, observing, and understanding how people live.
We are motivated to help with different tasks such as gardening, DIY, cleaning, daily help, and taking care of animals. We may not have experience in everything, but we are volunteer, curious, and happy to learn.

In our daily life, we enjoy spending time outdoors, nature, animals, and projects made with heart. We like reading, listening to and sharing music, snorkelling and everything that comes with meeting people, even in simple moments.

I’d love to learn Indonesian during my time in the country. Even just the basics to connect better with locals and understand the culture. And I’d be happy to teach the basics of French or English in exchange. I love sharing languages in a fun and practical way, through conversation, music, or daily life situations.

About our skills, we have different but complementary backgrounds.
Hugo is an engineer and is comfortable with organization and logic, but he likes as much intellecutel as manuel task. He enjoys understanding how things work.
Clara is a sociology student. She enjoys listening, observing, and adapting to people and situations. She is interested in human relationships and daily life.
We both have varied experiences, sometimes without formal training. We know we still have a lot to learn, but we are motivated, reliable, and curious.

What else ...

I love playing music: whether it’s acoustic guitar around a fire or electronic jam sessions when the vibe calls for it. I also enjoy climbing, hiking, and practicing yoga to stay grounded and connected to nature. I’m always up for trying local foods and learning about traditional ways of living.

I feel alive in the mountains or in the ocean, and I have a deep love for outdoor sports like snowboarding, paragliding, or trail running. But I also really value slow, mindful moments.

And if there’s a board game night going on, count me in. I’m always up for a game of Uno or something that brings people together through fun and laughter.
