what motivates me the most is to travel abroad and meet new and learn from inspiring people from all kinds of backgrounds, while at the same time being able to make an impact thru my own personnel contribution in bettering a small part of the world, helping others and or giving back to nature because I'm truly in awe with it.

I have a reasonable knowledge about the ocean as I am both a surf instructor and a professional surfer. This of course goes hand in hand with a love for nature. As a surfinstructeur I also have a lifeguard certificate and I have quite some experience with teaching people from all kind of backgrounds, and ages which I enjoy very much.
Teaching those people every day has had a major impact on my interpersonal skills. I find it easy to communicate with almost everybody. Furthermore I am dedicated to always give my best, even though I'm doing something that is completely new to me. Besides I'm also really keen to learn and experience new things.
This is shown in me finishing in the top 2 percent of the year in my school (cum laude), having an C2 level of English whilst training 8 times a week for surfing. The latter resulting in a (regretfully) nr 2 spot at the Dutch Championship under 18 and participating in the ISA world junior championships

What else ...

Two hobbies of mine that I didn´t mention before are reading and hiking. I also enjoy playing chess once in a while and I really like participating in a game of football, basketball, volleyball etc. And you can always wake me up for a game of table tennis.
