Description
I am 62 years old and fairly independent. The past 30+ years I worked in different fields of tourism but have also run a small old farm house/cottage.

In my previous life I was manager of a tour operating company for over 25 years. I was based in Wisconsin/USA and Brighton/UK and Cologen/Germany. Before that I had guided groups in Europe, tested and rated hotels in the UK, and way back during uni times also jobbed at a hotel/reception etc.

My native language is German, but I also speak English fluently. I lived & worked in the USA and GB for many years.

I had no idea how Buddhist monks act, and how it is to join their temple/monastery as a guest, and live with possibly stroooong rules. So, I negotiated a stay of only 8 days "just in case".

IT WAS A WONDERFUL WEEK!

Hubi stayed for 2 weeks. There is never a dull moment with Hubi around. He is a fun loving, always looking to help and making conversation everywhere he goes. He makes some very good pasta, and can be a great help in the kitchen. We had a big group at the time and was great to have Hubi around to help us.

My time at Mayoor's plantation was a great experience! Friendly and reliable people around me. Volunteers from India and the rest of the world met here in January 2022. A small United Nations.

Accommodation was simple but sufficient, sleeping in dorms with mats on the floor. Different volunteers prepared meals every day.
