Description
Hi! We're Harvey and Saki, an Australian/Japanese couple that are spending the next year in Japan.
Harvey is 27 years old from country Australia. I grew up on a 37 acre parmaculture/land rehabilitation farm where Saki and I have spent the last year living. The farm is also a worldpackers host. In the last year I've become very passionate about sustainable farming, ecosystem rehabilitation and community living, and am looking to learn as much as I can in this area.
My interests and hobbies are gardening and ecosystem management (permaculture), yoga and climbing (bouldering, trees), music and dancing (pianist and electronic dance music) as well as physics and philosophy. Overall I simply value health and happiness :)
Saki is 25 years old from Tokyo, Japan, and has been travelling for the last 6 years, living in Hungary, Spain, and Australia. I have worked in childcare, education, sales and tourism, and have a passion for languages, food and learning new skills.
Since living on the farm with Harvey and his family I have also come to share a dream of simple sustainable living in the countryside and wish to learn more about what this looks like in Japan.
Together we're happy, clean and respectful. We are well travelled and have experience both hosting and being volunteers. We welcome any and all opportunities that come to us.
