Hi, my name is Gloria, I'm 27 years old and I come from Rome in Italy. After finishing high school I started an art history course at the university which I concluded with a master's degree in 2022, in addition to dedicating myself to study during my university years I had some occasional jobs, such as leafleting and tour guide, but also some jobs to which I dedicated more time, such as waiter, barista and I also worked for almost two years in an ice cream shop. During my university years I lived for four months in the Netherlands, the country where I did my Erasmus, and in general I have always tried to travel as soon as I had the opportunity, during these years I visited Germany, Spain, the Czech Republic, Poland, France, Greece. After graduating I continued to work in the food industry, in various places in Rome but also in other regions (in 2023 for example I worked for three months in an ice cream shop in Puglia, southern Italy) and
finally I recently concluded (in March) my last work commitment that was an internship in the artistic sector of a bank, a job that allowed me to cultivate and put my artistic interest into practice and to put into practice the knowledge acquired during my university years. In addition to being interested in art, I am a lover of nature, animals, I really like music and travelling; I am a sociable person, available and always willing to help others. The first time I heard about workaway was last year during a trip I took to India, where I met guys registered on this platform and from that moment on I always wanted to sign up but for work reasons I always had to postpone it.. But now, after finishing this working period, I want to dedicate myself to gaining
new experiences thanks to this platform. Before leaving for New Zealand in September, in fact, I would like to try to travel during the summer months, in Europe but especially in Morocco in fact I've already booked my flight to Tangier on the 24th june and I'm planning to stay there until august. Given my desire to travel tomore countries, I thought that workaway could be the perfect
site as it would allow me to travel and get to know new places without worrying too much about accommodation, it would also allow me to meet new people, cultures and languages, to learn new things and new jobs but above all, in general, it would allow me to find myself in new and interesting and certainly exciting situations.
