Hello! My name is Ginta, I come from Latvia (a little country north-east of Europe) and I've been based in London for the past 9 years. Currently I work freelance in technology and events. I have a degree in Events Management and extensive international experience in hospitality.
As everybody here, I suppose, above all - I love to travel, get into adventures and new experiences. I see Workaway as a great way to do it. I haven't got any Workaway experience yet, but I stayed with my friend when she last did it in Italy and just loved the idea to try it myself one day! I'm very keen to get started. I used to been an active Couchsurfer for about 5 years, I just love the idea of staying with locals.
What else? I consider myself as a creative person, I can sew and fix things, I'm pretty good with photography and would certainly bring my camera with me. I've studied music and acting, also a bit of dance and art. I like to bake Latvian cakes, take photos and ride a bike. But above all these things, meaningful connections and conversations are the most important to me. Looking forward to connect with you!

Hospitality, people skills - I have experience as a bartender, hostess, waitress, usher and even casino dealer (croupier). I love dealing with people!

Photography - I'm not a professional but I'm definitely a good amateur :)
I don't mind doing any job really as long as it's reasonable. I can also do gardening, painting, look after children and all other sort of things :)

Currently I am looking for a host in London. I'm trying to make my dream come true, I've always wanted to call London my home even if it's just for a while.
