Hi, I’m Wendy, I live in France and I’ve been with Workaway for about ten years…as a host! I live in the countryside and since moving from a very large house and walled garden, spend my free time looking after farms and animals in France and the Uk. I love gardening having had 3 acres of land with fruit trees and a large vegetable area. I bake and sew, love pottery, music, reading. I love to laugh, enjoy good food and wine, but most of all… meeting people.

Im very organised, physically fit. Knowledgeable about gardening, both vegetables and trees and shrubs. For a long time I kept sheep and chickens, bred Labrador dogs and kept cats. I look after a farm ..horses, donkey, goats, geese, dogs and cats for friends on a regular basis. Having had my own property which needed constant attention, I’m handy at doing most things… through necessity! I’ve brought up a family, so able to care for children. Basically I’m not put off by anything!!
