Description
I’m a teaching student from Germany, studying English and Art, and one of my main motivations for joining Workaway is to find an internship position, which is a required part of my degree.
I already have international experience: I’ve done WWOOFing abroad, completed an internship at a supported living facility for people with disabilities in Scotland, spent a high school year in Kentucky, and in 2025 I finished an exchange semester in Omaha, Nebraska. Living and working in different cultures is something that truly motivates me and brings me a lot of happiness.
In my free time, I love traveling and cultural exchange. Even though I study art, I enjoy hands-on work like welding and woodworking more than drawing or painting. I’m not afraid of physical work and enjoy learning practical skills.
I also have a dog, so I’m very comfortable around animals—especially dogs. I spend a lot of time with my nieces, which has strengthened my patience, sense of responsibility, and joy in working with others. Overall, I’m an open-minded, reliable, and curious person who enjoys contributing, learning, and connecting with people from different backgrounds.
