Description
Hi, I'm Gerald (38 years), born and raised in Austria (close to Salzburg).
I went to the sea for the first time when I was 19 years old and since then I've been hooked on traveling.
I have visited many countries on almost every continent and experienced different styles of travel (from literally sleeping on the floor, backpacking and staying with people I've only just met, to luxury trips and several sailing trips). My travel highlights so far have been an exchange semester at the Philippines, a camper vacation in New Zealand and a backpacking vacation in Barbados.
I am a very open-minded, friendly, flexible and adventurous person who enjoys immersing myself in other cultures and values direct interaction with locals.
After my technical training (electrical engineering, IT) and a degree in industrial engineering, I have worked in various office jobs. In recent years as a project manager and project leader. Nevertheless, I'm not afraid of manual work and I'm always happy to lend a hand. I enjoy seeing what you have created with your own hands at the end of the day.
My personal interests are sailing (I am a skipper myself) and traveling in general as well as photography and video.
I don't smoke, rarely drink alcohol and I'm not a vegan/vegetarian, but I also regularly don't eat meat for several weeks at a time.

Her dog Oskar immediately took me to his heart and I took him to mine too. It's unbelievable how well-behaved he is.

Gérald stayed with me for a week, working outside very efficiently. We had nice conversations and I was very pleased to show him my printing workshop and art .
I recommend him without hesitation. Thank you again Gérald et bonne chance pour la suite .
My main tasks: Cutting grass, sanding and repainting balcony railings, laying old rooftiles and brickwork on the driveway and levelling out potholes and bumps.
Joan took me to her atelier once and showed and explained her work to me. As the Atellier is located… read more
