Hi guys,

this is Georgia (42).
I would like to tell you a little bit about me:
I am half Greek and half Jordanian, but I was born and raised in Germany. I studied social psychology there and after my studies I went to Asia. I was first in Thailand (Call Center: English/German) where I also had the chance to do my TEFL certificate and after that I moved to Bali to learn surfing. After 2 years I had to go back to Germany and started my own business as a social psychologist. I have worked with a wide variety of people (outdoor education, youth services, travel projects, job coaching, social counseling). Working with people is my great passion. I love motivating people and helping them see the positive things in life.
After 5 years, I felt it was time to move on. I got a job offer for a position on a cruise ship and accepted. I worked there for 2 months before the Corona situation started.
The last 2 years I worked in Switzerland as a seasonal worker and traveled a lot.
Now I feel like I want to stay in one place for a while and rearrange things. Preferably somewhere near the beach where I can also practice and improve my surfing.
**Update from September 2025:
In November 2022, I moved to Hamburg and lived there until February 2025. During this time, I worked in child and youth welfare and also supported homeless people, which was a very meaningful experience for me.

This year, I am preparing for my Heilpraktiker exam while traveling. Over the past months, I spent two months in Argentina, three months in Brazil, 4 months in Colombia, one week in Hong Kong, 5 weeks in the Philippines amd now Australia. :)

So what can I offer a host? I am very good with people. I find it very easy to connect with different people and make them feel welcome. Especially children love me!
I also have experience in the hospitality industry and teaching (German, English). So I could teach you English and German and also a lot about psychology.

I am a responsible person who is always in a good mood. I love to work out, do sports (especially water sports), go dancing (Salsa/Bachata) or just read a good book.
With me you will have a person who is reliable and always gives 100 percent. What do I expect in return from my host? I love to be surrounded by people who offer fair working conditions. I also love people who are warm and treat you like family.
The chemistry should be right and it should be a good fit from both sides.
