Hi guys,
this is Georgia (42).
I would like to tell you a little bit about me:
I am half Greek and half Jordanian, but I was born and raised in Germany. I studied social psychology there and after my studies I went to Asia. I was first in Thailand (Call Center: English/German) where I also had the chance to do my TEFL certificate and after that I moved to Bali to learn surfing. After 2 years I had to go back to Germany and started my own business as a social psychologist. I have worked with a wide variety of people (outdoor education, youth services, travel projects, job coaching, social counseling). Working with people is my great passion. I love motivating people and helping them see the positive things in life.
After 5 years, I felt it was time to move on. I got a job offer for a position on a cruise ship and accepted. I worked there for 2 months before the Corona situation started.
The last 2 years I worked in Switzerland as a seasonal worker and traveled a lot.
Now I feel like I want to stay in one place for a while and rearrange things. Preferably somewhere near the beach where I can also practice and improve my surfing.
**Update from September 2025:
In November 2022, I moved to Hamburg and lived there until February 2025. During this time, I worked in child and youth welfare and also supported homeless people, which was a very meaningful experience for me.
This year, I am preparing for my Heilpraktiker exam while traveling. Over the past months, I spent two months in Argentina, three months in Brazil, and since August I have been in Colombia. From December onwards, I would love to explore more of Asia and Australia, learn from different cultures, and connect with people along the way.**
So what can I offer a host? I am very good with people. I find it very easy to connect with different people and make them feel welcome. Especially children love me!
I also have experience in the hospitality industry and teaching (German, English). So I could teach you English and German and also a lot about psychology.
I am a responsible person who is always in a good mood. I love to work out, do sports (especially water sports), go dancing (Salsa/Bachata) or just read a good book.
With me you will have a person who is reliable and always gives 100 percent. What do I expect in return from my host? I love to be surrounded by people who offer fair working conditions. I also love people who are warm and treat you like family.
The chemistry should be right and it should be a good fit from both sides.

Hola amigos,
Aquí Georgia (38). Me gustaría hablarles un poco de mí:
Soy media griega y media jordana, pero nací y me crié en Alemania. Estudié psicología social allí y me fui a Asia después de mis estudios. Primero estuve en Tailandia (centro de llamadas: inglés/alemán), donde también tuve la oportunidad de hacer mi certificado TEFL, y luego me trasladé a Bali para aprender a hacer surf. Después de 2 años tuve que volver a Alemania y empecé mi propio negocio como psicólogo social. He trabajado con una gran variedad de personas (educación, apoyo a los jóvenes, proyectos de viajes, orientación laboral, consejera). Trabajar con las personas es mi gran pasión. Me encanta motivar a la gente y ayudarles a ver las cosas positivas de la vida.
Después de 5 años sentí que era el momento de seguir adelante. Recibí una oferta de trabajo para un puesto en un crucero y acepté. Trabajé allí durante 2 meses antes de que empezara la situación de Corona.
Los dos últimos años he trabajado en Suiza como trabajadora de temporada y he viajado mucho.
Ahora siento que quiero quedarme en un lugar por un tiempo y reorganizar las cosas. Preferiblemente en algún lugar cerca de la playa donde también pueda practicar y mejorar mi surf y mi español.
**Actualización de septiembre de 2025:
En noviembre de 2022 me mudé a Hamburgo y viví allí hasta febrero de 2025. Durante ese tiempo trabajé en el ámbito de la protección infantil y juvenil y también apoyé a personas sin hogar, lo cual fue una experiencia muy significativa para mí.
Este año me estoy preparando para mi examen de Heilpraktiker mientras viajo. En los últimos meses pasé dos meses en Argentina, tres meses en Brasil y, desde agosto, estoy en Colombia. A partir de diciembre me encantaría explorar más de Asia y Australia, aprender de diferentes culturas y conectar con personas en el camino.**
¿Qué puedo ofrecer? Soy muy buena con la gente. Me resulta muy fácil conectar con diferentes personas y hacer que se sientan bienvenidas. Los niños me adoran especialmente.
También tengo experiencia en el sector de la hostelería y en la educacion (alemán, inglés). Así que podría enseñarte inglés, alemán (y español) y también mucho sobre psicología.
Soy una persona responsable que siempre está de buen humor. Me encanta hacer ejercicio, practicar deportes (sobre todo acuáticos), ir a bailar (Salsa/Bachata) o simplemente leer un buen libro.
Conmigo tendréis a una persona fiable y que siempre da el 100%. ¿Qué espero a cambio? Me encanta estar rodeado de gente que ofrece condiciones de trabajo justas. También me encanta la gente que es cálida y te trata como si fueras de la familia.
La química debe ser la adecuada y debe encajar bien por ambas partes.
