Description
Hi everyone! My name is Geoffrey and I am taking a break from my career in France for a 9-month sabbatical. I am looking for a long time to realize such a trip like this.
I am an experienced traveler (I've backpacked through India, Nepal, Indonesia, Colombia, and all over Europe). However, for this Australian adventure, I want to take my time. I am looking to meet locals, to share private moments, to improve my English, and to be truly useful. This is why I am prioritizing rural areas and smaller communities.
First as IT and network technician then Project Manager, I am organized, reliable and autonomous. I am also very handy. Once you show me what needs to be done, I can work completely independently.
Moreover, I love doing home renovations. I can confidently help you with:
- Indoor work: basic electrical, drywall/plasterboard (Gyprock), tiling, painting, etc.
- Gardening, landscaping, and outdoor maintenance.
- Helping with and caring for animals.
- IT skills
- Any other manual task that requires logic and common sense.
I am an easy-going, sociable, smiling, clean, and respectful person. I am also very curious, always eager to learn and discover new things. When I'm not working, I enjoy running, working out at the gym, hiking, and just being out in nature. I also love sharing a good meal, having a drink, and enjoying great conversations after a productive day.
