Description
Hi, I'm Gaelle, a 25-year old recent graduate from France currently doing a work-holiday in Japan :)
I'm pretty chill, love to hang out, learn about languages and cultures, have been trying to write a book for a while now, love all kind of sports (especially combat, climbing and snow sports!), am trying to get back into drawing, and would love, looove to learn to play the drums one day. I have been on a few adventures here and there, ready for new ones :)
When it comes to skills I can speak a few languages! I've also worked in various area before: editing, teaching and tutoring, restauration (as kitchen-hand and waitress), customer services, manutention, etc.

I am native French-speaker and fluent English-speaker (level C2, my university was entirely in English), and would be able to teach that. I'm also conversational in Chinese. I have experience in teaching all three languages. My aim this year is to get good at Japanese.

I'm attentive and ready to work. I graduated from university in Canada with some extended time doing research in Taiwan, where I got fluent in English and in Mandarin, and gained a lot of teaching experience.
While studying I have worked in the kitchens of a restaurant, at an auction house, as a teacher at various levels, as a waitress in various café, and at the welcoming of tourists in museums and theatres. I'm currently working as a waitress in Japan where I help translate between French, English, Mandarin and Japanese. I can also maintain a good work schedule and am not scared of working in my feet!
I'm creative and can make good enough drawings and paintings (see some photos in my profile, they're a bit blurry since I don't have the originals). I'm also a decent writer and editor.

I am interested in about everything. I love teaching, cooking, and talking to guests and people from around the world, but also would love to get hand on experience in areas like farming, woodworking, basic house repairs, etc. Regarding those latter, I don't know much but I'm committed to learn!
