Hi! We're a friendly, reliable couple travelling together through Workaway to explore new cultures, connect with people, and grow through hands-on experiences. We enjoy spending time outdoors and physical hobbies and are really keen to learn new skills through Workaway!

Our Skills

Kurt
12 years as a fully qualified carpenter and joiner;
-Structural framing ( joists, flooring, roof framing and tiling, stud walls)
-Door and window fitting, kitchen fitting, fence and gate installations and decking.

General building work;
-Brick work, drywalling, plastering, flagging, guttering, painting, bathroom tiling and basic knowledge of electrical works.

Just finished a full house renovation, let me know if you have any building questions or requests. Looking forward to helping with any small or big jobs!

I am first aid trained and have experience in teaching first aid.

Gabi
I have 9 years working with children, teenagers and parents including children who were looked after by social services, homeless and teenagers engaging in offending e.g. knife crime.

Experience in delivering 1:1 and group activities with children, teens and parents focussing on wellbeing and therapeutic support.

Also experienced working with children who have additional developmental needs and mental health challenges.

Past employment in bars and restaurants including waitressing and bar work.

I have a passion for cooking and baking and love spending time in the kitchen learning new recipes.

We have fostered animals including cats and dogs and enjoy animal care.

We're adaptable, hard-working, and happy to help wherever needed.

We are really keen to learn new languages along with learning new skills, experience different ways of life, and contribute meaningfully to the places we stay. We're excited to connect with hosts and make the most of each opportunity.
