  • Description

I am currently on a sabbatical year or two... But whenever I might feel like it, my home is waiting for me in Belgium.
In 2014 I was living for a while on a permaculture farm community in Belgium.
After years of mainly city life it was there that I got reconnected with the Soil.
I learned by practice about organic farming and intentional community life. Halleluja 😀
In 2015 I joined a co-housing project with the opportunity to cocreate a permaculture garden, food forest and green house from scratch.
Now, 4 years later it is wonderful to see the abundance. We regenerated compacted grassland (see pictures) using Permaculture techniques, natural/organic farming, no till, some biodynamic principles.
I still have a lot to learn but start to get the hang of it and have some hands on experience.
The last year, before I left home in October 2019, I worked for an organic vegetable farmer. Also a valuable experience to see production on a bigger scale and learn a bit about the business site of it.

I finished my media- and cultural studies in 1999. I Worked as teacher, communication pro, festival manager, cook, street performaner, gave children workshops... I probably forgot some things.
Jack of several trades I guess... looking for something...
