Hello there! I‘m Florentine, an 18 year old girl from Germany who just graduated from highschool and has decided to take her bike and a tent and cycle from the north of Germany to France. The journey since then filled my heart with gratitude and incredible experiences but now I feel that it is time to stay a little longer at one place - so I am finally here :)

I am a creative, openminded person who loves to be (active) outside but I also enjoy calm and cozy days on the couch. My hobbies include: hiking, cycling, playing volleyball, painting, drawing, knitting, etc. Exploring new places by foot or bike is one of my favourite things to do and meeting new people along the way is always the best, even though I might be a bit shy in the beginning. I have a deep fascination for the outdoors, and nature always needs to be a part of my everyday life even if it is only a 30min walk.

I am a person who loves to work with her hands. Be it painting, cooking, crafting or gardening - it brings me joy. I am not a professional in any of these areas but I love learning and I am motivated to improve my skills. My bike is a good example: three month ago I knew almost nothing about the repair of bicycles but after my father taught me, I can now fix most of the things on my bike myself.
I just love DIY projects: the planning and implementing of projects so they finally become reality fulfills me deeply… might it be planting a herb garden, creating an architectural model for art lessons or painting my wall. When I work on a project like this I often get extremely focused and forget about the world around me until my stomach reminds me of the need for food.
