Hello there! I‘m Florentine, a 19 year old girl from Germany who graduated from highschool in 2025 and has decided to take her bike and a tent and cycle from the north of Germany to France. These three months where incredible and I spent the last four amazing weeks with workaway in France. Right now I'm back home, but I'm looking forward to new adventures :)

I am a creative, openminded person who loves to be (active) outside but I also enjoy calm and cozy days on the couch. My hobbies include: hiking, cycling, playing volleyball, painting, sketching, knitting, etc. Exploring new places by foot or by bike and meeting new people along the way feels like one of the greatest privileges on earth :)
I have a deep fascination for the outdoors, and nature always needs to be a part of my everyday life even if it is only a 30min walk.

I am a person who loves to work with her hands. Be it painting, cooking, crafting or gardening - it brings me joy. I am not a professional in any of these areas but I love learning and I am motivated to improve my skills. My bike is a good example: three month ago I knew almost nothing about the repair of bicycles but after my father taught me, I can now fix most of the things on my bike myself.
I just love DIY projects: the planning and implementing of projects, so them finally become reality fulfills me deeply… whether it's planting a herb garden, creating an architectural model for art lessons or painting my wall. When I work on a project like this I often get extremely focused and forget about the world around me until my stomach reminds me of the need for food.
