We are a small family from Germany who enjoys discovering new places, meeting people and learning about different ways of life.

What motivates us most is spending meaningful time together, being outdoors and working on practical projects. We recently moved into a house with a large garden, where we do many things ourselves. We enjoy gardening, improving our home, repairing things and learning new skills along the way.

Kathi is an English and PE teacher and loves languages, sports, creativity and working with people. Hubert is an engineer in the field of renewable energy and enjoys practical work, nature, technology and finding solutions to problems.

We are happiest when we can combine family time with new experiences and useful work. We like being active, but we also appreciate relaxed evenings, good conversations and simple everyday moments.

During our parental leave, we would love to experience life in another region, contribute to an interesting project and meet open-minded people. We are reliable, respectful, curious and happy to learn. We do not expect luxury, but a friendly atmosphere, clear communication and a safe environment for our daughter and dog are important to us.

Kathi is a qualified English and PE teacher. She has experience teaching children and teenagers, planning lessons, explaining things clearly and adapting activities to different ages and abilities. She can help with English conversation, homework, language learning, sports activities and working with children in a patient and creative way.

Hubert is an engineer specialising in renewable energy. He is technically minded, organised and enjoys solving practical problems. He can help with planning, research, simple technical tasks, maintenance and projects related to energy, sustainability or home improvement.

At home, we do a lot ourselves in our house and garden. We have experience with gardening, painting, assembling furniture, small repairs, basic renovation work, organising spaces and general maintenance. We are not professional tradespeople, but we are practical, careful and confident using common tools.

We are also happy to help with cooking, household tasks, looking after animals, outdoor work and everyday jobs. We learn quickly, follow instructions well and are not afraid of trying something new.

As parents, we are used to organising our time, being flexible and staying calm when plans change. We are reliable, respectful and work well both independently and as part of a team.
