Hello everyone, my name is Fabrizio, I am 23 years old and I come from Italy.
I joined Workaway because I think it gives you the opportunity to experience the local lifestyle in every country of the world, and as I am a curious person, I consider it a great opportunity to challenge ourselves in a different way of living.
Workaway has allowed me to meet hosts and workawayers who have changed my life in a very positive way; it has given me the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people with whom I have shared beautiful moments that I will always remember, and I can't wait to start other workaways to relive those memories!
I am a very open person and I would know very well how to adapt to cultures and traditions other than mine.
Speaking of myself, I really like doing sports and keeping me fit: I like running, cycling, swimming and all outdoor activities that allow me to be in contact with nature such as hiking.
I really like reading and taking pictures, furthermore I also love social dance (salsa and bachata); dancing changed me a lot, and I think I'm never gonna stop doing it.
Another activity I like to do is cooking: I've never been a starred chef, but I know how to prepare many good recipes. I think seeing someone who liked what you cooked for them is one of the most satisfying things that can happen.

When I have to do any type of work, I always try to do it in the best possible way, so from this point of view I consider myself an organized person and attentive to details, who can carry out the assigned work independently.

In my day job, I do mechanical maintenance. I believe I have practical skills for jobs that require manual labor. I really enjoy fixing objects of all kinds, and I also enjoy working with wood.
I also have carpentry skills, I worked in a carpentry for 3 months and I was able to learn operations such as welding and construction of metal structures.
I also have photography skills.

My family and I, who live in a town outside the city, have a small vegetable garden and some orchards. I usually help with the work neded to maintain them, so if necessary I could also do it in the house where I would be hosted.

During one of my workaways I took care of some farm animals such as sheep, goats, pigs, cows, donkeys, chickens, ponies and dogs; I would be able to feed and clean them, and I know how to get close to them.

If necessary, I would be very happy to cook some food for you and share the dishes all together.

I am also practical in the use of computers, and being Italian I could also teach the language.
