Description
Kia ora I'm Esther, I am 23 and from Coromandel, New Zealand. I live on an avocado farm with a market garden and am looking to explore other ways of life! A bit about me; I studied Marine Science and Environmental Politics and have been working as a snorkelling instructor for the past two years since. I am also interested in videography, having spent my spare time for the last few years producing a documentary series called the Department of Information. When I have a moment to myself I love to paint, play music, hike and cook. I live in a very rough little shack on my parents farm so am well used to 'rustic' living (aka shitting in a bucket) and have grown up on small farms my whole life so am always ready to tackle anything. I always had horses until I left to uni so I would love an opportunity to love on some horses for a bit, I also adore dogs, cats and pretty much any animal that walks the earth. Recently I tried to sail to Tonga, but unfortunately the boat broke down halfway there so I have had to rethink my life and this is what I have decided to do instead! I am looking for a place that I can learn and grow in, meet some interesting people and experience another part of life.

I am an experienced cook/baker and a clean tidy person. I have lots of life experience, having grown up on a farm I've done a bit of everything; driving tractors, mowing orchards, picking and packing, gardening, mulching, fencing, animal care, horse riding as well as helping my mum run her market garden. I am a quick learner, a good listener and follow instruction. Confident driving manual/auto, backing trailers, operating tools etc. I love reading, music, photography, crafts or projects of any kind, good conversations, campfires, sailing, snorkelling and just generally making the most of the life we've been given. I am experienced as a videographer and social media manager, and skilled with technology.
