I am very excited to see the world and learn new ways of thinking about life. I can be quiet, but I enjoy interesting conversations. I'm quite happy in a garden, or in a park hanging out with plants and wildlife.
I love art, music, books, science, and nature. But most of all, I love learning new things. One of my favorite things is the intersection between art and science, which is why I have worked in and study art conservation. I will happily nerd out about art materials anytime.
Lately, I've been painting with watercolors, and would like to visit somewhere scenic where I could practice landscape painting.
Playing music and singing together is one of the greatest bonding experiences. I probably won't travel with an instrument, but I play piano, and would pluck along on a banjo or ukulele if you have one to share.

I have a Fine Arts degree, so I enjoy working with my hands. I'm comfortable with many power tools, have basic woodworking skills, and enjoy many DIY house projects.

I do most of my own cooking at home, and love exploring new cuisines. I am strictly gluten free, and would need a host who could accommodate that. I would be happy to help in a kitchen and learn some new things along the way.

In my day job, I am an administrator at a university, so I am very organized and know a fair bit about Excel should you need help spreadsheeting.

I have previously worked as an art handler in both gallery and museum settings, so I am very careful and thoughtful about everything I do.

I have recently started practicing yoga and breathwork and am really enjoying it.

I enjoy dancing, and have tried many different styles throughout my life.

I really just want to learn about the different ways that people live and engage with their communities. I love cultural heritage in all of its forms and want to experience the lived versions of it, not just what makes it into museums.
