*** My fire season ends in October and I will be ideally looking for a rural WorkAway in the Pacific Northwest (NorCal - WA) ***

Hello! I am a 36 year old who is from Salt Lake City, Utah in the United States. I have recently left my job as a Wildland Firefighter, in which I spent most of the last decade working in this profession. I have traveled throughout the Western U.S and Alaska for countless forest fires and have been lucky to see many beautiful landscapes over the years.

I have been working at a Metal Fabrication shop for over a year. So, if you have any welding projects, I may be able to help.

Aside from splitboarding and mountaineering in the wintertime, I enjoy all human powered activities such as running, biking, rock climbing, hiking and anything else that involves moving outside!

A few other notes:
- Only fluent in English like a typical American... but I will try to learn your language!
- I am not a picky eater and love trying new food

I enjoy building/creating things with my hands. I enjoy carpentry work but have only done a bit here and there. I often do small scale woodworking projects for fun

Welding - MIG/flux core and just getting start started with TIG now

Quite a bit of experience with power tools such as: chop saws, table saws, handheld circular saws, jig saws, drill press, impact drivers, angle grinders

I am a mechanically inclined individual and enjoy learning how things work. I usually do my own car repairs myself, however I am not a car mechanic

I am a detail oriented person and realize the importance of taking time to do something right the first time

I am human and make mistakes, but I pride myself in having integrity and will be honest with you when they happen
