Description
I'm a 22 year old Irish man. I write and have published poetry and prose. I enjoy the odd bit of music. I previously studied philosophy at University. I find great peace in the outdoors and in meditation. I'm not afraid of hard work and I look forward to meeting some interesting folks along the way.
I'm planning on hitchhiking from the West of Ireland to Boston, Massachusetts starting in September 2026. I don't smoke, drink or take any drugs. -

More details about your skills
Past jobs I've done include working as a cocktail bartender, waiter, shopkeeper, housekeeper and kitchen porter. I have managed different teams, led meetings and once gave a university lecture on Seneca. I grew up in the country so I'm not a stranger to digging potato drills, moving cattle or spending a day on the bog.
I recently went on a Workaway in Norway where I helped to manage a team of around 30 volunteers to maintain and repair a number of vintage sailing boats. My practical sailing experience was limited to a handful of excursions during those five weeks but I've since taught myself a good deal of theory from esail and different online resources. -
