More details about your skills
Academically, I have a degree in Women Studies with Race and Ethnic Studies. And have worked for over 20 years within the field of social justice. I currently volunteer for RAIS (Refugee Advocacy, Information and Support) as an advice worker.
Vocationally, I hold teaching diploma’s in various styles of yoga from vinyasa, ashtanga, yin, women’s wellness, children and even baby yoga. I’ve taught yoga classes, workshops and retreats in the UK, Europe and Australia for over 25 years.
I’m a trained florist and have a little seasonal flower stall that I run through the British flower season (March to October) from a local garden centre.
I’m pretty skilled domestically having run my own household for over 35 years, raised 4 strong independent women and cared for my grandparents in their later years.
And I love animals! Over the years we’ve always had pets in our home ~ dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, chickens and most recently guinea pigs. I love animals! I did my first workaway on a donkey/animal sanctuary and I currently volunteer as a dog walker for Animal Care.Age

What else ...
I’m from the UK and after a few years of living in the beautiful oceanside town of Fremantle in Western Australia, I’m currently living back on the edge of the English Lake District.
I’ve now reached a chapter in my life where my 4 daughters are all grown up and I am able to structure my work in the UK from mid-March to mid-October. So for all of November right up to the beginning of March I’m looking to spend some time out and about adventuring, helping, gaining new experiences and learning different ways of living in and with the world.
I'm a friendly, laid-back mama who’s been teaching yoga for over 25 years. I enjoy reading, dancing, swimming, gardening, all things nature and outdoorsy and I love animals!
In February I experienced my first workaway spending a month in Antigua at a Donkey Sanctuary. This was an incredible first workaway experience! A paradise Island with incredible beaches, great hosts who are now friends for life and the cutest animals to care for. I loved it so much I’m going back in volunteer again through November and December.
What else ~ who knows! I'm excited to see where the next journey takes me ~ I hope we can meet along the way ...
Onwards with Love
