Our next destination:
Japan - from Jan 2025 until Jan 2026 View allDescription
Hi! We’re Emma and Robbie – a Scottish couple travelling through Japan on a year-long working holiday visa (valid until January 2026).
Since early March, we've been working at a guesthouse in Gunma, helping with a wide range of tasks including preparing and serving breakfast, barista work, cleaning and setting up guest rooms, checking in guests, and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We’ll be here until the end of May and are now looking for our next Workaway opportunity from July onwards.
Although we can legally work in Japan, we’re also hoping to explore other parts of Asia during our year away – including South Korea, Vietnam, and Thailand.
We’re both 31 with life and work experience - we are reliable, responsible and easy-going. We love the energy of cities and towns and we also love being outdoors – hiking, cycling, and swimming. We have a big appreciation for art, design, food, and culture.
We enjoy hands-on, practical work and are happy to help with a wide range of tasks. We both love practical, hands-on jobs, working outdoors, working with animals and working with people in customer service roles.Interests
