Description
Hi, I'm Emma, a 23-year-old Italian girl currently traveling in the United States!
As soon as I graduated from university last year, I decided to go abroad because it was something I had always wanted to do but never had the opportunity to. So I spent 7 months traveling around Australia, moving between various Workaway hosts, meeting wonderful people and having memorable experiences that I will cherish forever!
Although I am a quiet girl who likes to spend her free time at home reading, I am very fascinated by the idea of exploring the world and putting myself out there. I want to get in touch with new cultures and people and improve especially my language abilities.
I'm a hardworking and reliable person who learns quickly and always wants to help others. I like to cook and sing in my spare time. I enjoy walking, especially in nature, swimming and overall keeping fit. I love animals, especially dogs :)
I hope to do different experiences in my life and enjoy them all!

I graduated with a degree in juridic sciences with very good grades and during my studies I did some internships in this and in the administrative field.
I am a native Italian speaker and I am able to teach something in this language. I know English quite well but I'd like to improve my speaking skills. I know basic French and Spanish and I am currently starting to learn Korean.
I like to draw and paint and in general I am quite a creative and artistic person: I've done some murals in my home and with a Workaway experience in Tasmania.
I've had some experience in childcare: I was an animator in summer camps and I helped with homework in after-schools for a year in my home country.
I also have some experience in dog sitting due to my previous Workaway experiences in Sydney and Perth and I particularly like dog-walking.
I enjoy cooking: I usually prepare festivity meals at home for my family as well as healthy daily meals and I spent from August to October 2025 cooking on a farm in Perth.
I have quite of a green thumb: I love nature and plants and in almost all my previous Workaway experiences I did some gardening (mainly weeding).
In general I'm always willing to learn new things and skills!
