Hi! I'm Emily, 23 years old, and I'm starting my Master's degree in Political Science in autumn. Before that, I would like to do some travelling, but at the same time invest my energy for a good cause. I have loved animals since I was little and have always had animals around me - whether cats, dogs or horses. I chose to study political science because I would like to campaign for animal welfare at a political level in the future.
I'm always happy to talk about animals and animal welfare, as well as philosophical and social issues.

I grew up around animals (cats, dogs, and horses), so I feel like I have a good intuition with animals and what their needs are. I've always been fascinated by how animals communicate, which is why I have taken courses on positive reinforcement in animal training and completed an internship with a horse and dog trainer specialising in least intrusive minimally aversive training (an incredible experience!).
Besides that, my studies have given me a solid foundation in English and German writing, which may be beneficial as well.
Furthermore, I'm a fast learner and can adapt quickly to new situations. I'm easy-going and always happy to help :)

I absolutely love reading - I'm especially into classics and non-fiction.
Also I do yoga regularly and am really enjoying it!
