Hi I am currently studying economics in Frankfurt. I am an open, calm and caring person, excited for new challenges and workaway is a new challenge for me. I have never travelled alone, but I am positive minded about this adventure. To meet new people is very easy for me and it is very interesting to learn about the culture of other people. In my free time I play the piano, meditate, learn Spanish, produce Music (techno-music haha) and go out with friends.

I had the best first workaway experience I could have imagined. At my semester break I wanted to travel a little bit and work at the same time, butI did not know where and there was not much time left till the start of next semester. Eventually I was tired of searching and Fortunately they wrote me back and three days later I packed my clothes and… read more went there for 2 1/2 weeks from Germany with no expectations. Bad gastein was very beautiful and it is a special place, with all the mountains, the buildings and the view down to the next village.The village is small but it has much to offer. Although I couldn’t ski and didn’t even try (because its too expensive, but that’s the case everywhere haha) I had a lot of fun in Bad Gastein. You can go clubbing, do yoga, go hiking or visiting lost places (there are many of them haha). the hotel was located not far away from the apartment (10 min walk). The place where I spent the nights, was very big and clean. I had my own bedroom and bathroom and shared the kitchen (the have a couple of houses for employees, so maybe you get another type of apartment).The hotel is very beautiful and is deisgned extra for families, the majority of guests had kids. All employees were very kind to me from the first day, everyone was open and nice to me. There were a couple of workawayers, with whom I have become good friends and had many funny experiences with them. I worked at kids club. The work was fun, I enjoyed being around the kids. The parents were also very nice (99 percent of the guests are german). So not only I had much fun there I also got a good check for my work :) and not to mention the food. It was free for employees and you don’t have to go to the store and make your own food, because the food there was very very delicious and you could eat there like three/four times a day. Bad gastein is a place where you can relax, connect with nature or you can party, do stupid things with other workawayers there or you can do both like I did :) I am very greatful to be a part of the team, to be part of the community in bad Gastein, because there the people think freely. Although it was very short, I enjoyed every minute of it. The only „negative“ thing to mention is, that communication, because there was a misunderstanding between me and them, so I would recommend to clarify everything first with the contract.
