Hello! I just recently graduated from University in Environmental Studies with a minor in Spanish, and now I am ready to do more traveling. My passions include environmental justice, sustainability, recreating outside, fostering community, and learning new skills. I am also passionate about meeting people from around the globe and improving my Spanish skills, as my goal is to eventually become fluent.

More details about my language interests
I am interested in improving my Spanish speaking, writing, reading, and listening skills. I have a minor in Spanish and have spent some time in other Spanish speaking countries. However I don't often interact with Spanish speakers at home, and want to immerse myself in the language to push myself to become at a higher level. I have experience teaching English to kids as an Au Pair for two months in a rural village in Spain. Additionally, I have experience assisting teachers in the classroom and leading school aftercare programs. I would be interested in teaching English in exchange for the opportunity to improve my Spanish.

With a recent bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, I am excited to use my knowledge of the environment, it's interactions with social systems, and sustainability practices in a new setting. I have a well-rounded life and education background which I am so grateful for, and look forward to sharing my perspectives with new people and learning the perspectives of others. I value myself as a hard worker who is always willing to learn. My skills and qualities include communication, work ethic, attention to detail, writing skills, open-mindedness, and flexibility.

What else ...

I love to run as a form of exercise and for clearing the mind. I like to stay active in any way I can, particularly outdoors, and hope to pursue an opportunity that allows this. I am also hopeful to learn a new outdoor activity during.

I am also extremely passionate about Indigenous environmentalism, and wrote a senior year thesis on the topic. I am excited to learn about the local/Indigenous peoples who occupied or still occupy the area I choose, and hope to learn about the traditional practices used.
