I've been working as a social worker in Berlin for the last few years and realized I need a break from the big city life pretty badly. I've been working on a farm in Portugal for a few weeks 2 years ago and enyojed the work and being outside the whole day a lot. In Berlin I try to have some nature in my life as much as I can, last year my partner and I had a small part of a field where we could grow our own vegetables and continue doing so in small vegetable patches on our balcony. Other than that I love going to the movies, swimming in lakes or the sea, cooking and reading.

We already have some experience in growing and taking care of vegetables, as we had a small garden plot last summer. We're both hardworking and eager to learn new skills.
I (Elli) spent some time on a farm in Portugal, where I learned how to build and repair sheep fences, operate a chainsaw, and chop firewood. I also cooked meals for groups of 10–15 people there.
Yannig is tall, athletic, and not afraid of hard physical work – he's always ready to get his hands dirty!
We both love being around children and enjoy caring for animals of all kinds.

What else ...
We both love spending time in nature, playing board games, and trying out different kinds of sports. Yannig plays football, and Elli practiced Thai boxing for several years. Also we enjoy good movies and series and going to the cinema. We really love good food – both eating and cooking – and spending a lot of time with our friends.
Living consciously is very important to us, especially when it comes to the food we eat and how we interact with the environment and the people around us.
