Hi! We’re Élisa and Myriam, two sisters from Luxembourg.

I’m Élisa, and over the past two years, I’ve done around 15 WWOOFing and Workaway experiences in France, Switzerland, Austria, and Spain. After returning to Luxembourg to work for a year, I realised that my desire to travel and connect with people never really left.

So I’m back on Workaway, this time with my little sister!

I’m Myriam, and I’ve just finished high school, with a focus on mathematics and biology. I’m taking a gap year to gain new experiences, discover different ways of living, and get closer to nature and animals.

Élisa:
My Workaway/WWOOFing experiences have taught me that I can adapt and integrate well into any environment, whether it's living remotely in a yurt in the mountains, or staying with a family with children.
I often had the opportunity to take care of animals, such as hand-milking goats, cleaning cow barns, herding a flock of 400 sheep, and feeding chickens and cleaning the coop. I also helped in the vegetable garden with tasks like weeding, pruning, and planting seeds.

Myriam:
I’m quite handy and enjoy practical work. I sometimes help my father with his gardening work, so I’m comfortable with outdoor tasks and working with my hands. Growing up in a large family, I’m also used to being around children and generally get along with them very well. I’m adaptable, willing to learn, and always happy to try something new.
