My name's Ed, and I live in a rural area of the UK called Norfolk. I currently work as a private sector leasing officer at my local council to source properties for the homeless. Whilst I enjoy how rewarding my job is, I've now got the opportunity to take some time to travel and explore more of the world!
I'm really looking forward to seeing as much as the world as I can. I'd also like to help out local communities and projects as much as I can along the way. I'm a very creative and open minded person, so I'm always open to new ideas and projects.
My parents are both English teachers, so I've grown up in an environment where I've learnt the basics of how to be a good teacher. In my job, I also help and speak to people on a daily basis, that don't have English as their first language, so I'm comfortable speaking to a wide range of people.
I love spending much of my free time outdoors; walking, hiking fishing and exploring. I think that I'm naturally drawn to nature, and love to appreciate the amazing planet we live on, and animals we share it with. Whilst I love to spend my time outside and in nature, I also am a really social being, find it easy to get on with anyone, and truly value meeting new people along with having great conversations and sharing ideas and worldviews.
I love to go to the gym and really enjoy my fitness and running, so I'm more than happy with any physical tasks that you might need help with.
I'm naturally a really creative person - I've played guitar from a young age and really enjoy funneling emotion in music. I've taught guitar before so would be more than happy to share this skill with anyone!
I also love crafting things from start to finish - everything from carving fishing lures to building small furniture. I love to get involved in any creative projects that involve builiding or creating things!
I share a great love for cooking, and enjoy creating a range of dishes, with a personal love for cooking outdoors. I'd be excited to share dishes with any hosts, and also get the opportunity to try other foods.Interests
