Lovely to meet you!
We’re Bob, Kenlly, and our little adventurer Boaz (1.5 years old).
Together with our two sweet rescue dogs, Noor and Freek – originally adopted from Spain and Portugal – we’re on a journey to live a more meaningful and connected life.
Last year, we made a big decision: we sold our home, our business, and most of our belongings. We bought a mobile home and hit the road to follow our dream — to spend quality time together, live closer to nature, and discover new ways of being.
Bob used to run his own beach restaurant in Zandvoort, leading a team of 70 people. He brings a wealth of experience in hospitality, maintenance, and everything else that comes with managing a busy business.
Kenlly is a social worker and certified yoga teacher. She has worked on a therapeutic farm with animals, supporting young adults who’ve faced challenges in life — a role that combined compassion, care, and a deep love for nature.
We’re curious, open-hearted people who enjoy connecting with others. Through Workaway, we hope to learn more about gardening, building, and self-sufficient living. We believe in raising our son in nature, surrounded by diversity, open-mindedness, and a sense of freedom.
