I spent a few days with this lovely little family. Sewing, cooking, chatting and exchanging with my friendly hosts.
I was able to sleep in a very comfortable little outbuilding next to the house. Very quiet area, close to Deborah Bay, beautiful to walk around.

I spent 2 great weeks at Andrew's house helping him make cushions and curtains for his boat. He is patient and takes the time to chat despite my broken English :)
There are bus stops not far away, which is perfect if you want to see Auckland (about 40min by bus) and in the surroundings there are parks for walking, some mini markets and restaurants.

I spent 4 great days with Beverley. She is lovely and caring, she made us food and always brought us snacks and something to drink during the efforts. Joy arived with companion Workaway Roamain .both speaking French and keen to learn English language. Joy tried very hard to converse all times in English. She was very respectful of the house and offerred extra help with house duties over and above the tasks that were hers to do daily for 4 hours.
