  • Description

Drew: I am a beginner in learning Spanish and would Love to learn more. Gardening, Homesteading, Primitive Skills, Building, and Permaculture inspired land projects are my passions, I Love to work hard in service to good wholesome causes. I Love opportunities to meet and work with other people and enjoy working independently as well. Food security is something I feel is very important. I have built a children's learning garden at the elementary school I went to as a kid, I have experience managing a 50 member CSA(community supported agriculture) garden. I can operate a chainsaw and use power tools and have 3 years of construction/carpentry experience. I'm happiest when I'm involved in creating something beautiful or sharing good conversation. Wanting to learn more about off grid systems like hydro and solar.
Noa: I'm from Spain, and I speak Spanish, French, Catalan and English:) I like nature and animals, I have one cat, chickens and a donkey so I enjoy taking care of animals in general. I'm good at learning new things and I think that I'm a creative person. I enjoy a lot sharing with new people and cultures. I worked in other farms with permaculture systems but I will love to learn more about them and also construction skills.

  • More details about your skills

I am educated and experienced in numerous 'homestead' type projects such as running a market garden, greenhouse growing and maintenance, farming, soil amending, soil fertility, seed saving, fruit tree pruning and care, animal care, composting, vermiculture, landscaping, and irrigation installation and maintenance.
I ran a year round CSA for 3 years where I learned greenhouse growing and delivered $50 fresh grown produce bags weekly to our 50 members.
I helped plant, grow, and process 10,000+ CBD plants in the summer and fall of 2021.
I am great with kids and have more than a year of experience as a head instructor in primitive wilderness therapy for 'at risk' youth.
I teach primitive/ancestral skills at many events including Rabbitstick and Wintercount.
I started my own Fruit Tree Pruning service that I have provided to my area every spring since 2018, resulting in lots of happy trees and happy customers.
I have experience in construction, carpentry, and demolition, and have my own cordless power tools(drill, skillsaw, sawsall, grinding wheel). I am not afraid of hard work, I actually enjoy it, especially when it's for a good cause.
    Eager and fast at learning.

  • What else ...

We have a van that we Live and travel in. We can stay in it if our host doesn't have an extra space. We have a well trained cat named Fern that travels with us.
We love good conversations and good company, sharing music, camping, hiking, mtn biking, wild foraging, exploring new areas, swimming, rock climbing, and being in the garden. Drew makes and sells authentic Native American style flutes. We are care free, low maintenance, tree hugging, dirt worshippers ;)
