Description
Hey, I'm Dominik from Germany. I've recently finished my studies in education and now aim to expand my horizon by meeting new people and exchanging cultures. Experiencing other ways of lives and discovering different natural as well as social environments are goals that are dear to me. Additionally, I would also love to improve my language skills while gathering experiences to develop and enrich my personality.
Having grown up in a small village in Germany, I've always been fond of animals and nature. To me, they represent a safe haven and an opportunity to escape the anthropocentric life, which makes taking care of them even more important.
In general, I'm eager to learn new things and follow instructions precisely. Friends often describe me as a thoughtful, trustworthy and reliable person, who is always ready to help.
I'm an avid reader and enjoyer of all kinds of music.

I have taught English in a formal school setting as well as in private tutoring lessons. I am also happy to teach German and the basics of Norwegian. Personally, I would love to improve my English and Norwegian and am interested in learning Irish.

Education
I've worked as a teacher, private tutor as well as in childcare. My experience ranges from preparing and delivering formally structured school lessons to organising leisure time activities. I genuinely enjoy working with children and young adults, providing them with opportunities to learn and grow.
Languages
I speak English and German fluently and have basic knowledge in Norwegian. I'd love to exchange language knowledge and share my enthusiasm for languages.
Animals and Gardening
I've hands-on experience in taking care of various animals, including dogs, cats, ducks, chickens and rabbits. I've helped with gardening tasks, such as preparing soil for planting vegetables and weeding. I'm eager to learn more about gardening practices.
Other skills
Having lived with my grandma and my younger cousins for a while, I have gained experience in household chores, such as cleaning and cooking.
I'm a hard worker and fast learner, not afraid of getting my hands dirty, and I hope to acquire new skills along the way.

I may come across a little quiet at first, but once I've settled in, I become more comfortable and open. I'm always willing to try new things. I also enjoy hiking and would love to discover some hidden gems of the local area.
