My name is Diana, I am from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and I´m currently living in Tenerife. I love traveling and getting to know new places and cultures. Most of all I love seeing the different ways of living around the world and the subtle quirks in daily life.
This journey started 1 year and a half ago, I started travelling looking for experiences, and I had a lot, my main goal was enjoying life and im definitely learning how to do it. I did my first volunteering almost 1 year ago and I unexpectedly feel in love with this place, I´ve been working in a hostel for 9 months now and it´s been a fantastic experience, but im ready for a new one.
Ive always worked as a fashion designer, but ethically stopped resonating with me, although I still enjoy creating beautiful things, and finding beauty in the world around me. I love taking photos, drawing, doing crafts of all kinds.
Im a non smoker, an experimented driver and a Spanish passport holder.
As a traveler I love seeing what the real life of the people who live in the cities I visit is like, having a local's perspective seems essential to me to get to know the place more authentically. In this stage of my trip I feel like I´m needing some routine and feeling helpful but also having some free time for myself, adding value to some project and volunteering it seems like the perfect fit. Of course having company and sharing talks or a delicious meal is one of the things about the experience that im also looking forward.
I´ve been also experimenting with Trustedhousitters and Couchsurfing and I fell in love with this communities, they blown my mind and opened up my universe in a way that never expected, so I hope I can keep on finding the same with workaway. Trust, collaborate, share, give expecting nothing in return, being generous and always possitive are values that I want to keep from this communities.

Mi nombre es Diana, soy de Buenos Aires, Argentina y actualmente vivo en Tenerife. Amo viajar y conocer nuevos lugares y culturas. Sobre todo amo ver las diferentes formas de vivir alrededor del mundo y las sutiles particularidades en la vida diaria.
Este viaje empezó hace 1 año y medio. Comence a viajar buscando nuevas experiencias, y tuve montones, mi principal objetivo era disfrutar de la vida y definitivamente estoy aprendiendo a hacerlo. hice mi primer voluntariado hace casi 1 año y inesperadamente me enamoré de este lugar, estoy trabajando en un hostel hace 9 meses y es una experiencia fantastica , pero ya estoy lista para una nueva.
Siempre trabajé como diseñadora de modas pero eticamente dejó de resonar conmigo, sin embargo sigo disfrutando de crear cosas bellas, y encontrando la belleza en el mundo que me rodea. Me encanta sacar fotos, dibujar, hacer manualidades de todo tipo. En este momento estoy muy entusiasmada con el diseño de interiores y con la alimentación conciente.
Siempre me he caracterizado por ser responsable, respetuosa y digna de confianza.
No soy fumadora, soy una conductora con mucha experiencia y tengo pasaporte Español.
Como viajera me encanta ver cómo es la vida real de las personas que viven en las ciudades que visito, tener la perspectiva local me parece fundamental para conocer el lugar de forma más auténtica. En esta etapa de mi viaje siento que necesito algo de rutina y sentirme útil,pero tambien tener algo de tiempo libre para mi misma, por lo tanto agregar valor a algún proyecto, y hacer un voluntariado me parece la opcion perfecta. Por supuesto tener compañía y compartir charlas o una rica comida es una de las cosas de la experiencia que también espero con ansias.
Tambien estuve experimentando con Trustedhousitters y Couchsurfing y me enamoré de estas comunidades, me volaron la cabeza y abrieron mi universo de una manera que nunca esperé, así que espero poder seguir encontrando lo mismo con Workaway. Confiar, colaborar, compartir, dar sin esperar nada a cambio, ser generoso y siempre positivo son valores que quiero conservar de estas comunidades.

The best skill that I have is that if I commit to something, I'll make sure that I deliver and be the best at it.
Im really polite, respectfull and non problematic person. I´ve always been too structured but now, as Im in this journey, I discover that I can be super opened minded, pretty sociable and easygoing. I´m good with people, Im trustworthy and think that shows.
I know how to adapt to different envoirments and I like trying new things and challenge myself.
As a Latin American person, I have the culture of hard work, we are used to do all sort of task that most of the time exced the actual rol job, but I see it is as a whole, and I love getting involved in other areas, is always an opportunity to learn more.
Ego is never a problem for me, I accept criticism and I am always open to learning and having productive feedback. If I don't know something I prefer to ask, communication is essential in any job.
In my work experience, in addition to artistic development, I also always had to deal with completely different people, overcome all kinds of difficulties and also deal with deadlines .
I love organizing spaces and I also love using Excel for all areas of my life, being proactive and effective is very important to me.
I worked in customer service and I love solving their problems and making them leave happy and satisfied.

La mejor habilidad que tengo es que si me comprometo con algo, me aseguraré de cumplirlo y de ser la mejor en ello.
Soy una persona muy educada, respetuosa y nada problemática. Siempre he sido demasiado estructurada pero ahora, a medida que estoy en este viaje, descubro que puedo tener una mente súper abierta, ser super sociable y relajada. Soy buena con la gente, inspiro confianza y creo que eso se nota.
Sé adaptarme a diferentes entornos y me gusta probar cosas nuevas y desafiarme a mí misma.
Como persona latinoamericana, tengo la cultura del trabajo duro, estamos acostumbrados a hacer todo tipo de tareas que la mayoría de las veces exceden el puesto de trabajo real, pero lo veo como un todo y me encanta involucrarme en otras áreas, siempre es una oportunidad para aprender más. El ego nunca es un problema para mí, acepto criticas y siempre estoy abierta a aprender y a tener un feedback productivo, si no se algo prefiero preguntar, la comunicacion es fundamental en cualquier trabajo.
Como diseñadora siempre me atraen los proyectos artisticos y que tengan que ver con la estetica. Me apasiona la arquitectura y la decoracion de interiores, soy fan de varios videoblogs de renovaciones de casas antiguas y en el ultimo año me enfoqué en hacer eso con mi hogar y me encantaria adquirir mas experiencia en esa area. Amo todo tipo de manualidades. Por otro lado tamien me atrae mucho la idea de probar algo completamente distinto y aprender cosas nuevas, la cocina me gusta mucho pero soy totalmente amateur en el tema.
En mi experiencia laboral, ademas del desarrollo artistico, tambien siempre tuve que lidiar con personas completamente distintas, sortear todo tipo de dificultades y lidiar tambien con fechas limite y cumplir con plazos. Me encanta organizar espacios y tambien amo usar el excel para todas las areas de mi vida, ser proactiva y efectiva es muy importante para mi.
Trabajé en area de servicio al cliente y me encanta resolver sus problemas y que se vayan contentos y satisfechos.
